Hello Internet traveler. Welcome to the "first chapter" in the new Bonfire Labs Storytellers Series.
It goes without saying that the “story” exists in a myriad of forms and fashions, ranging from long odyssey to short crude joke, and not always with an obvious or well-defined forum. Neverless (almost) all of them deserve to be told, shared, adapted and passed along.
We set up this virtual campfire with the sincere hope that it encourages our staffers, family, and friends to craft tall tales or shine a light on the life of interesting people, and to then share that content with the world. An endeavor that aims for no more complicated a business transaction than story and audience.
Let’s kick it all off by listening to John Vanderslice, the founder of Tiny Telephone (a San Francisco recording studio), which since 1997 has been the home for many great independent albums. Along the way the studio has become known for its comfortable atmosphere, its nurturing approach to creativity and experimentation, and its wide range of vintage gear and analog keyboards.
Please remember to check back here often and take a brief moment out of your day to let us bend your ear, eyes and imagination with a growing number of stories worth telling.
